We wanted to know more about Riina and her work.

"I want to do a degree of master of science." That's what I decided in junior high school when I realized something like that is possible. After eleven years of the decision I graduated from Tampere University of Technology in april 2008. I had achieved my first goal. What was going to be my next target?

Fortunately I was hired right after my graduation to an engineering office Granlund Tampere, which is one of the subsidiaries in the Granlund Group. Granlund is Finland's leading building services consulting firm, whose core businesses are building services design, facility management consulting, and the development and sale of design and facility management software. Additional to this Granlund Tampere consultates in the field of refrigeration.

My job is to design refrigeration systems for supermarkets. Our major client in the field of refrigeration is one of the Finland's biggest food trading company.

During year 2010 we started to plan our first CO2-system for food retail. Our client had CO2-pilot projects but we needed more information. The most of my knowledge of CO2-processes in a real CO2-refrigeration system I got from Green&Cool. I'm very grateful for the detailed answers which I always get to my complex questions.

As I started in Granlund Tampere without any work experience in the field of refrigeration the only thing I knew was that I wanted to learn more about refrigeration systems. Now I know that I want to be an expert in a field of refrigeration. And I have a hunch that it's going to be cool!
